An approach to Planning and Marketing and how they work in Cuba and its tourism sector.

Abstract
The paper searches the relevancy of marketing in a socialist economy, the possibility to apply it in such conditions and how is it actually working in Cuba, together with a historical investigation until today, in particular in the tourist sector. It concludes with the confirmation of the need of marketing to manage and guide the economy in socialist Cuba in dialectical harmony with planning, as a consequence of the Plan / Market united reference to lead the society.
